National Sports Base Plc. purpose is to provide the necessary conditions for physical training and sports systematical practice and to raise the national sport prestige.
National Sports Base Plc. prime task is to contribute for stabilization and expansion of the Bulgarian positions in the world sport elite by securing possibility of reaching higher level of the contemporary sport in such an extremely rival area. It requires adequate preparation system considered with the latest science and technical progress achievements.
Philosophy
National Sports Base Plc. team philosophy is to keep and manage the sport sites with national significance so that these sites and facilities would permanently satisfy the national necessities in the area of the physical education and sport and the social tourism.
The participation of the Bulgarian Republic in the Olympic Games, worldwide, European and others championships is significant for the team of the National Sports Base Plc. These championships are with social, cultural and prestigious significance for the community and for the individual.
Contribution and Responsibility
National Sports Base Plc. activity is a contribution as to our national culture and to the enormous potential for the national unification as to the responsibility for consolidation of our national self-confidence and raising the country’s sport prestige.
To present all sites, included in National Sports Base Plc., together with their advantages, significance and role for Bulgaria in Europe is a responsible and professional attitude towards the Bulgarian citizens.
History
‘Sport sites with national significance’ are sites and facilities that serve for permanent satisfaction of national necessities in the area of the physical education and sport and the social tourism. They are public state property or municipal property with clear managerial frameworks at all bases of national significance.
National Sports Base Plc. had been founded and is now acting in accordance with the corporation statue in the base of which lies our prime task – protecting and preserving of all sites in the sake of the Bulgarian sport, in the sake of the Bulgarian youth, in the sake of the welfare of everybody who love and care for the Bulgarian sport and its successful development.
Structure and Management
National Sports Base Plc. is private joint-stock company with national property. The corporation is a legal entity separate from the shareholders. The joint- stock company had been found with the Counsel of Ministers Instruction № 13 on 29/03/1993. The corporation is law-successor of Business organization ‘Sport properties and activities’.
The Corporation is presented by a council of directors.
Objects of Activity:
- It serves for the Bulgarian and foreign national club programs;
- Marketing;
- Transport and other activities;
- Public sport services;
- Advertising and Information services;
- Pursuing productions and services;
- Sportsmen exchange and sport know-how;
- Sport servicing;
- National and international sport tourism;
- Hotel and restaurant-keeping;
- Organization of sport stock market;
- Renting of sport appliances, sport facilities with the appropriate premises and renting of other long-lasting material assets.
Corporation authorities:
The sole proprietor of the capital who settles the questions that are in the competence of the General shareholders meeting is the Council of directors which consisted of 5 members elected for 3-years-term.
The Council of directors manages and presents the corporation on the base of a managing contract concluded between each member of the council and the sole proprietor of the capital.
The Council of directors assigns the conduction to one of its members as an Executive director.
Executive director of National Sports Base Plc. is Mr. Petar Bojilov.
