Vassil Levski National Stadium

On the national stadium take place all matches between Sofia teams for the republic championships, Bulgarian cups and official meetings of the national football team, the republic and international track-and-field athletics championships.

Vassil Levski National Stadium had been licensed in 2002 by UEFA and it preserves four stars category by UEFA and FIFA standards for stadium capacity of such class.

Vassil Levski National Stadium is the only one of its kind in Bulgaria. Its capacity is for 43 500 spectators’ seats, 10 % of which are for guest propaganda groups, 1500 VIP boxes and 4000 covered seats. It is separated to four sectors, entrances, stands and toilets.

Despite the playground (the football part) and adjoining areas, tracks and grounds, Vassil Levski National Stadium preserves 14 sport halls for judo, eurhythmics, basketball, boxing, aerobics, fencing, table tennis, general physical training, etc. It also preserves indoor track with area over 2000 m2.

In the territory of the stadium there are also two conference halls: Rodina hall and Pressclub Bulgaria, there are also Museum of the physical culture and sport, administrative area, Sportna Sreshta restaurant, cafes.
